Claiming a ClearSay business listing allows an authorised representative to manage company information, respond to reviews and access available business tools.
Step 1: Create or sign in to your account
Go to ClearSay.co.za and sign in. Use a business-domain email address where possible.
Step 2: Search for the business
Enter the public trading name and open the correct listing. Compare the address, website, telephone number and category before continuing.
Step 3: Select Claim This Business
Use the claim option shown on the business profile. If no claim option appears, the listing may already be managed by another account.
Step 4: Enter the claimant details
Provide accurate information about yourself and your relationship with the company.
- Full name
- Job title or role
- Business email address
- Telephone number
- Business registration information where requested
- Business address
Step 5: Complete business verification
ClearSay may request evidence confirming that you are connected to the company. The required method can vary depending on the listing and information available.
- Confirmation through an official business email
- Confirmation using a publicly listed business telephone number

- Evidence that you are a director, owner or authorised representative
Step 6: Upload the requested evidence
Make sure documents are readable and relevant. Hide unrelated financial, customer or identification information that ClearSay has not requested.
Step 7: Review and submit the claim
Check the business, claimant details and evidence before submitting. Monitor your inbox and spam folder for verification messages.
Step 8: Access the business dashboard
After approval, sign in and open the business dashboard. Review the profile information before responding to reviews or sending customer invitations.
The business is not listed
Follow the guide on how to add your business to ClearSay, then complete the claim process once the listing is available.
